WGW Media team up with AT&T for their Chairman's Challenge Corporate Party

WGW Media was recently hired by AT&T Corporate Offices in Dallas, Texas for AT&T’s Chairman’s Challenge Corporate Party on September 13th, 2012. The AT&T’s Chairman’s Challenge was a kickoff to promote wellness, health, and fitness for all their employees. WGW Media provided a Wii Fit and XBox Kinect Station for their employees to play and to learn about the fitness aspects of these two gaming systems. AT&T wanted to educate their employees on how to live a healthier lifestyle. They also wanted to show their employees the different fitness options that are available to them. AT&T provided many stations throughout their corporate office, such as: Sunshine Yoga, Pilates, How to cook healthier meals, CVS Pharmacy Blood Pressure Testing, Wii Fit and XBox Kinect games, Cycling, and many more healthy options for their employees.

AT&T Dallas Event Planners did a fantastic job of running a well organized and beneficial fitness event. They want their employees to become more healthier and fit because there are many benefits to having healthier employees at the workplace. On March 20th, 2012, in The Business Times, Paula Reece shares with us the benefits of having healthier employees

“The benefits of fit employees are numerous for both the employer and the employee. There are many benefits from a monetary standpoint such as the fit employee is less likely to get sick. Reduced absenteeism and reduced health care expenditures top the list. Other benefits include having employees with more energy. This energy allows the employee to stay focused at work. A healthy and fit employee also tends to have a higher level of self-confidence in themselves and inspires confidence in others around them. Employees, who know how to set fitness goals and stay motivated to exercise, will also be goal-oriented at work. Leading a life with a good attitude and less stress is also a benefit of a healthy and fit employee.” by Paula Reece

I wanted to share Paula Reece’s article in The Business Times because it points out that if your employees are living a healthier life, they will have more energy, stay more focused, have a higher level of self-confidence, less stress, and their production level will increase. AT&T educated their employees on the many options they have to increase their physical and mental fitness. All in all, the AT&T’s Chairman’s Challenge was a successful one and WGW Media enjoyed being apart of it. by Mike Munoz CEO WGW Media
